The Mosconi SP-DIF Board is an optional expansion module for the Mosconi DSP 6to8 processor, adding dual S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface) optical inputs to the unit’s input capabilities. It allows you to feed digital audio sources such as a Mobridge DA1 MOST interface, a CD transport, or any device with a TOSLINK output directly into the DSP 6to8 in the digital domain, bypassing any analogue conversion entirely.

In a high-end system, keeping the signal path digital from source to processor preserves every detail in the recording. The SP-DIF Board makes this possible with the DSP 6to8, extending its versatility for complex, multi-source installations.
