Limited vinyl LP pressing. 1998 debut album from the French postmodernist duo. Air raid every aspect of retro pop music, from the sublime to the ridiculous, in fashioning their sonic bricolage. Everything from Krautrock-inspired electronics to 1960s lounge music is incorporated into the work of Nicolas Godin and J.B. Dunckel. Moon Safari earned massive critical plaudits and put the duo at the forefront of modern, electronic-oriented pop. All tracks were penned by the duo with two tracks All I Need and You Make It Easy featuring lyrics penned by Beth Hirsch and addition input from Patrick Woodcock on Ce Matin La and Jean-Jacques Perrey on Remember.

When Moon Safari drifted into the cultural stratosphere in 1998, it did more than just define the late-90s lounge revivalit provided a lush, analog sanctuary for a world spinning rapidly into the digital age. Armed with vintage synthesizers and a cinematic eye for romance, the French duo Air crafted a timeless masterpiece of downtempo pop that felt both retro-futuristic and intimately human. Decades later, dropping the needle on this heavyweight 180-gram vinyl reissue proves that the albums baseline groove and atmospheric warmth havent aged a day; it remains the ultimate soundtrack for urban introspection and late-night stargazing.

First released in 1998,Moon Safariintroduced Airs lush, cinematic sound to the world, blending downtempo beats, vintage synth textures, and dreamy melodies. The album became a cornerstone of late-90s electronic pop, with standout tracks like La Femme dArgent, Sexy B
