Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut, beloved titles from Japanese superstar guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka’s Kitty Years are newly remastered in this special release. As a leading figure in the global Japanese fusion boom, Takanaka continues to gain fans across Japan, Europe, and North America. Remastered from the original master tapes using highresolution audio and lacquercut at Abbey Road Studios in London by Alex Wharton, this series presents each album on color vinyl that enhances the visual impact of the original artwork. Originally released on May 21, 1979, BACCO is a supersession project led by Takanaka, delivering tight, groovy West Coast rock infused with highlevel funky fusion, paired with the powerful emotional vocals of Jim Diamond. Produced by Robert Brill and Masayoshi Takanaka, this edition is pressed on 180g heavyweight Clear Yellow vinyl, offering a vibrant sonic and visual statement.
